Welcome to Liberty Intermediate School

Liberty Intermediate School is one of two intermediate schools serving fifth and sixth grade students in the Duneland School Corporation. Located in a rural setting about three miles south of Chesterton, Indiana, LIS provides a rich curriculum which includes core subjects, exploratory courses, and health & physical education instruction. Guidance, media, and health professionals assist classroom teachers in meeting student needs. In addition, Liberty offers an extensive program of extracurricular activities.
